Pachyderm Plumbing

digiovannarebecca

I flushed my elephant down the toilet today.

He really didn’t want to go.

They’re rather big and bulky,

it took quite a bit of flow.

At first the water ran over the bowl

and onto the bathroom floor.

And made a sort of gurgling sound,

as it sloshed right out the door.

Rapids ran down the stairs,

like a raging waterfall.

It really was astonishing,

how it splashed against the wall.

Spinning, spiraling, swirling as

some cyclone in the sea,

now I truly wish I hadn’t done it …

‘cause I really need to pee.

I know now I’ve learned my lesson,

for elephants are just way too big.

So the next time I’ll just have to try

cramming down my little sister’s pig!
